And he knows how to tickle the guitar, always a bonus :) He's greatly missed already! We'd love to have him back again, campers and staff alike.

He's been good with the campers, children love him and most importantly he's been an absolute joy to work and live with. The job can be challenging and stressful at times but Sam kept calm and we always got the the job done well and in time. He was from the … read more start keen to learn, picked everything up very quickly and wasn't afraid to try things new to him or taking on more responsibility where necessary. Mostly cleaning, maintenance and costumer service. He lived off-grid onsite at the campsite for two months during the busiest time of the season and helped with all aspects of running a campsite. Sam has been a priceless addition to the team this season in many ways. Here's the feedback on Sam from Steffi our Campsite Manager To apply please tell us a bit about yourself, why you would like to work with us, what relevant experience you have.
#Off grid camping Patch#
We have a large veggie patch for the staff where we grow lots of summer produce. Previous 'workawayers' have left with new Bushcraft skills, learnt to cook on open fires and gained lots of practical skills. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourselves in nature and learn more about British woodlands and their flora and fauna. The interactions with campers from all backgrounds means it creates a diversity of social experiences.
